To work on a site locally its important to have our local environment configured to match the staging or live site. When creating local environments for any of our sites we want to have the core components up-to-date. However, sometimes it is difficult to find the version numbers for the components.

This post is to simply show where to find the version numbers for these components on a WordPress site.

• First go to the website’s admin dashboard.

• On the left hand menu bar, go to Tools > Site Health

• On the Site Health page, go to Info

• From here, you can view the version numbers for all the important components.

• And that’s it!
